About Me

I am a final-year Applied Mathematics student at the University of Dhaka, dedicated to the intersection of mathematical optimization, neural networks, and reinforcement learning. My research explores the frontier of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), with a specific focus on developing architectures that move beyond pattern recognition toward human-like reasoning.

Key Focus Areas

  • AGI & Reasoning: Developing "System 2" architectures that utilize inference-time compute (e.g., GRPO) to enable autonomous agents capable of multi-step logical reasoning and causal understanding.
  • World Models & Dynamics: Building predictive internal representations of physical environments to enable long-horizon planning, bridging the gap between state-space models (SSMs) and agentic decision-making.
  • Brain-Inspired AI: Synthesizing cognitive frameworks with mathematics to bridge the gap between biological intuition and machine reasoning.
